How to read this map
Selected places are 2025 U.S. Census Bureau incorporated places and Census-designated places whose Gazetteer representative point is no more than 35 statute miles from the Ocala city representative point (29.177510, −82.151025). Distances use the WGS84 Haversine great-circle method and mean Earth radius of 3,958.7613 miles. The county-only geometry is clipped to the circle and excludes all incorporated municipalities intersecting the county; selected community guide polygons remain complete official place boundaries. CDPs are statistical areas, not incorporated governments. The map is centered more closely on the core selected communities; moving keyboard focus from the guide list pans a selected boundary into view.
Being within a selected polygon or near the circle does not establish that all addresses are served. Census boundaries do not necessarily match mailing addresses, neighborhood or development footprints, HOA boundaries, or local service jurisdictions. This list is not exhaustive of nearby communities. In particular, The Villages CDP is not necessarily the footprint commonly meant by “The Villages.” Confirm your exact address, job scope, and availability with AGM.
